PRESENTATION OF OUR WORK

 "How is the wine made ?"
That is the question we have thought about all year long.We have answered thanks to school classes,experimental work that we have integrated  to the lesson, a visit to the Chateau Pape Clément located near our high-school, a complete bibliography and a lecture which was on the 8th december 1999 entitled "The wine chimestry".
First, during school lessons, the gathering of information about all the secrets of wine, has been the main goal of our research.
Experimental work about the proportion of acidity and about the presence of iron in white wine.Some of these experiments have been filmed  to show the actual experiences and the results.
Then, the visit at the Chateau Pape Clement allowed us to enrich our knowledge thanks to specialists who have answered  our questions (and who have had the kindness to make us  taste the new wine).
Furthermore, the bibliography has given us a lot of information about different details:

              -Science and gastronomy,
             -Wine from the analysis to the making,
             -The wine by Pascal Ribereau-Gayon,author of the lecture on the 8/12/99  which some of us attended.
